Biodiesel is a prime example of turning waste into a valuable resource; it is produced from feedstocks such as vegetable oils, animal fats, and waste cooking oils. Through appropriate chemical reactions-most notably transesterification-these waste materials are converted into a green, renewable fuel that offers higher combustion efficiency.

Typically, the feedstock for biodiesel consists of approximately 80% oil and 15% water, with the remaining 5% comprising auxiliary ingredients such as emulsifiers and catalysts. Due to the high oil content and the resulting high viscosity of the mixture, we recommend using ultrasonic equipment with a flow-cell configuration.
