Transducer (vibration source): The core component is a piezoelectric ceramic element-typically Lead Zirconate Titanate (PZT-4/PZT-8), though some newer models utilize lead-free piezoelectric ceramics (such as BNT-based materials). It converts electrical energy into mechanical vibration via the converse piezoelectric effect.
Radiating surface/cleaning tank/vibration plate: Constructed primarily of stainless steel; 304 stainless steel is used for standard environments, while 316L stainless steel (containing molybdenum for resistance to acids, alkalis, and chloride ion corrosion) is used for highly corrosive environments or those with strict hygiene requirements. Surfaces are often hard-chrome plated to enhance wear and corrosion resistance.
Booster and tool head: These components must withstand high-frequency, high-amplitude stress. Titanium alloys (offering high strength and low acoustic loss) are commonly used for high-power applications, whereas high-strength aluminum alloys or stainless steel are suitable for low- to medium-power applications.
